A Happy and Prosperous New Year to all of my readers. Based on last years' forecast, it seems we have been going down hill for the past several years. I fervently hope that 2004 ends that trend and we can see a better year ahead. Let us dwell on the positive things that we have in our lives, and see only good ahead. May 2004 bring you blessings, success, and change for the better.
The year starts with slow downs and communications' difficulties, postponements and delays (Mercury retrograde). Once it gets going by late January you will begin to see just how powerful 2004 is. Your biggest lesson will be in what you believe about yourself facing an ever increasing show of abuse, incompetence and mismanagement by those entrusted with power. Your need to grow and move on will bring you into conflict with those who want everything to be as it was. Personal power and desire to excel will be at its highest in years and those who learn early that cooperation and working together will bring the most success will really accomplish miracles this year.
(AST): The Sun (conscious awareness) in Capricorn (big business, traditional power) exactly opposes Saturn (lessons, limitations) in Cancer (foundations, beliefs). What you try to do to move ahead in the world will find conflicts with inner self and family. What you try to change in yourself will be limited by society. Both the Sun and Saturn are exactly square ( a T-Square) Mars (desire, ambition, personal power) in Aries (self, pioneering spirit). The release point of this aspect occurs in early Libra (relationships, partners, associations) deeming group efforts to be more successful that solo ones.
Changes will occur ultimately in your financial affairs, money and property, with a return to old ideas of handling your own resources and being responsible for you own prosperity and security.
(AST): The Moon (past, changes) in very late Aries (new ideas, doing for self) is trine (fortune, opportunity) retrograding Mercury (return to old ideas and values) in Sagittarius (personal freedom) releasing us from our dependency on others for our livelihood and future.
A powerful year for personal relationships with people looking at what they want and need, not what they have or have been allowed. Same sex marriages are now becoming commonplace and accepted. Look for other types of what has been considered unusual relationships to surface, especially group connections as was tried in the 1960's. Look at your own situation to see what has been missing, or what can be brought forward that will make your personal relationships more dynamic and satisfying.
(AST): Mars (desire, drives) in me-first and pioneering Aries is sextile (partnership benefits) Venus (love, need) and Neptune (unusual, strange) in Aquarius (group efforts, eccentricities). Personal freedom and self-expression will dominate this year. It is a powerful year to really be yourself.
The return to old fashioned religion for the answers that New Age philosophy and self- empowerment did not give immediate answers to will in turn cause stress rather than give the comfort it use to. Practical assessment will show that there was no substance there and that believing in something that is devoid of power will not make it work.
(AST): Jupiter (optimism, religion, philosophy) in analytical and critical Virgo, the sign of doubt, squares (inner stress and tension) Pluto (hidden power) in Sagittarius, the sign of religion and adherence to traditional beliefs. The dogmatic approach will not work as the truth will be seen.
I sincerely hope that this coming year brings more balance, peace and enthusiasm to the world, and that it will indeed be different from the other years since the beginning of the new millennium. This past year has shown us one unmistakable thing, we cannot go backwards, and we cannot wait for a return to better times. The good times lie ahead. Bless you.

ARIES
I said that last year 2003, was the year you have been waiting for. My mistake. Too many unexpected bumps in the road. 2004, however, does seem to be the year, and it is finally here! You have the power and support you need to accomplish everything you could hope for, if you learn now that your Aries penchant for doing everything yourself is no longer your most endearing quality. YOU NEED OTHERS! YOU NEED TO WORK WITH OTHERS! YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH SO MUCH MORE BY HAVING PARTNERS! Was that loud enough? It is your year, but learn to share.
Early February brings fortunate connections, possibly too good to be true, that make your wildest dreams possible. Early April, and July give you a chance to measure your progress, and October shows you how well you have done through sharing.
Late April will bring financial changes based on good ideas from the past, and August opens doors for you that will truly open your eyes. In July it will be you against the world, and November will show you how much you have won and how far you have come.
TAURUS
2004 will bring many changes in your ideas about yourself and about life. Your views of what is real and what you can count on will change, albeit slowly in your normal fashion. A deeper sense of your own true self will grow stronger with the year. Welcome changes or achievements enhance your career path or business development. Follow your feelings and ideas will give you the direction that you need.
Early February brings a lucky meeting that will pay off in the Spring with the realization of some long held desire. This will manifest in stages throughout the year, but it will be born in the Springtime. Late April heightens your sense of direction, which if followed will enable you to make your ideas happen by years' end.
July finds you struggling a little to make your ideas work. Remember that you are not alone in this and let others do their parts. September allows you to succeed and achieve your goals with everything being resolved by December.
GEMINI
A powerful year to see big positive changes in your life-style, if you can find the right person or learn to share. Financial clashes are likely with future plans and different ideas the focus of the conflict. That is why it is necessary to work with those who have the same ideas as you do. A meeting with or contact with someone quite exotic or far away gives you the support you need to fulfill your dreams.
Early February is very important to your future, and you will be able to get things moving to ensure your future by the Spring. Changes that come up by late April will manifest slowly, but remember them late in the year as they will come to pass.
July brings financial issues that will not be solved until October, and be finally put to rest in December. A fortunate occurrence in September will give you much to work with in November. The year ends with you finding renewed balance and harmony in your relationships.
CANCER
2004 brings much in the way of opportunities for personal growth and dealing with unresolved issues in your relationships. Your efforts at work or in business will be frustrated by others until you learn how to balance things in such a way as they work of you and for others. Then you will truly make big progress this year.
Early February brings something quite unusual to you from another person. this will help you with the attainment of your personal goals for this year. Early April sees you starting something big that will come to pass in October. July can be very frustrating, but a fortunate occurrence in September will help you to realize the changes you wanted by November.
The year end finds you dealing with the relationship issues and conflicts and finding balance and harmony. The difficulties of the year can be resolved by working to everyone's benefit.
LEO
Fortune smiles on you in 2004 as the resources are now available to make those big changes in your life happen. Look to the Spring to make all this come to pass. Financially you are in a very good year. Issues of health, problems with people that you work with, or responsibilities that interfere with your personal plans can all be very frustrating.
